Absolute Location Model

Many of you might have a vague idea of what absolute location means. There are those people who are absolutely enthusiastic when it comes to the subject, and they spend hours upon hours theorizing, quoting, and pontificating on the topic. They can be very passionate about it, can make for very interesting reading.

absolute location

On the other hand, there are also those folks who know very little about locations. For instance, I once heard a wonderful quote attributed to Napoleon Hill: “Everything your mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.” This really hit home with me because it basically means that you do not need a lot of money, time, effort or mental acuity in order to reach your full potential in whatever area of life you choose.

Absolute Location

What is absolute location?

Absolute location is the geographical term and used to describe the location of a place. The location of a certain distance and direction from another location.

This location is determined by latitude and longitude on Earth.

Here is another absolute location example that I like: “When all your fears and questions are gone… and nothingness is all that exists.” What this means to you is that you do not need to push through all the issues, problems, and obstacles in your way in order to get what you want. You simply let go of everything that is holding you back and trust that eventually everything will work itself out in your favor.

Example,

When you decide to take on any example, always remember that it is not really about the result right now, but about what you are working towards in the future. It is not about what is right now but about what will happen in the future. So if you are trying to achieve financial freedom, don’t think about the dollars and cents you are earning right now, but what you will have in the future. In the absolute sense, the location of something is not really absolute at all. We often use absolute locations in our day-to-day lives, and it is often very easy to slip into thinking that they are absolute.

For example, think about your car, which is an absolute location example right now, but what if in the future perhaps you no longer have a car? That is absolute in the sense that if you no longer own your car then it would no longer be yours and therefore no longer be absolute. You see? It is relative!

Also, keep in mind that absolute locations are not absolute at all times. If for example, you have your things at home but are on vacation; you are not absolute in the sense that you have all your things at home. The absolute location example works the same way with your relationships; whether you are single and happy or whether you are married and unhappy. Happiness is relative, and happiness changes throughout time. With absolute location, the only constant is change!

Once you understand this absolute location example, you will also probably understand that you cannot know for sure what is absolute all the time. We are constantly learning new information, and this will affect our opinions as we move along. We can remain on track of absolute locations for a short while, but in the long run it might be very hard to pinpoint an absolute location if more information is available. Therefore, some people believe that they cannot be right all the time, but it is really only true during a time when they have a direct influence.

In fact, I bet you did not know that the absolute location example was only true for a minute. Think about this for a minute. If the earth was round, the earth would certainly roll over again with absolutely no reference to its location. Therefore, the absolute location example is only true for a minute, approximately. Now, what does this mean for you? If you could determine for a minute whether you are right or wrong, then you could determine anything.

If you are reading this article, then you are probably looking for a great deal of information regarding the absolute location example discussed above. Hopefully, by the end of this article you will be able to answer the question, “Does the absolute location model actually work?” Of course, this question may not be the important one you are looking for.

The important question is, “Do you think it works?” If you want to figure out whether the absolute location model makes sense for your business, then you should consider asking yourself these questions: Do you believe it is possible to accurately predict the precise location of anything at any given time? Do you see yourself working at a law office one day and later on wanting to be a property developer?
